In November 2017, PAM formalised an agremement with Tan Sri Ar. Esa Mohamed who had generously provided a financial gift to underwrite the new PAM Student Awards for the next five years. The new PAM Silver and Bronze Medals is a continuation of the PAM-Tan Sri Chan Sau Lai Architectural Awards (years 2012-2016) [www.pam-tansrichanslaward.com] and has been expanded to include Part 1 graduands in addition to the former Part 2 award.

PAM records its deepest gratitude to Tan Sri Ar. Esa Mohamed (PAM Gold Medalist 2016, former PAM President and UIA Immediate-Past President) for his support of the new awards, to provide recognition and commitment towards Malaysian architecture, education and the youth. PAM also acknowledges the contributions of Tan Sri Ar Chan Sau Lai for initiating and developing the previous cycle of the PAM Student Awards. It is an honour for PAM to have our leading senior members provide for the new generation of architects joining the profession.

PAM Student Awards is organised by the PAM Awards and Competitions Commitee.

About the award

The PAM Student Awards seeks to promote scholarship, innovation, merit and excellence in the youth towards the study of architecture. It also demonstrates the commitment and investment of both PAM and the Benefactor towards architectural design excellence.
